AI Engineer @ August AI

You will be responsible for working on August’s product features and applications. This role requires creative thinking, combined with strong backend engineering and AI/ML skillset.

Responsibilities

Own the end to end build out of features
Create and maintain high-quality test cases and metrics to ensure adherence
Maintain and improve existing functionalities and features

You might be a good fit if you have:

2+ years working with backend and frontend systems
Excited to learn how LLMs can be used to build high performing applications
Experience working with Python, Javascript (React, Next.js)
Experience training ML models
Are results-oriented, with a bias towards flexibility and impact
Pick up slack, even if it goes outside your job description

At August, we’re pushing the boundaries of what is possible at the intersection of AI and healthcare. Given how overloaded the healthcare systems are across the world, we feel it is inevitable that a smart AI system will help patients at all those times when their doctor is not available. Our belief from day 1 has been that this AI system will need to be extremely accurate, easy to use and highly empathetic. To that end, August is an empathetic AI-human powered by the most powerful health AI system in the world. We currently serve 500k+ users across 160 countries.
